Doctor's Visit

The twinners had their 4 year check-up this month and the entire Nolan clan went in to the office. The girls had their usual shy-start which waned fairly quickly. Then, as usual, there was no stopping them. Chatters, those girls!
Sam was his usual industrious self -- well, industrious for a 2 year old boy... mischievious to a mumma. He was climbing all over the chair and scale, asking to be picked up to sit on the examining table, crawling on the shelf under the table... he was everywhere. A few minutes into the girls' examinations, the doctor, who was preciously a teacher, and well seasoned with children, said, "You have a busy house!"
Ha! You're telling me!
Then after watching Sam for a while, she remarked, "He's certainly a boy-boy."
Double Ha! Had no idea gender differences were so pronounced until he came along.
Then she said, "He ought to be in a tv show."
Triple Ha! He is such a HAM!
Didn't take too long for her to get a read on Sam. Then again, he's pretty transparent.

You should have known what would happen if you named him Sam.
From the mom of another Sam, who by the way, after driving me crazy, grew up to be a great guy!
Yep, Boy.
I am always amazed that children who have the same genes and are raised by the same parents can be SO different...
I think his TV show would need to be a remake of Dennis the Menace :)
He certainly is cute!
Aunt Cathy
glad there's still hope for our sam!
