Lost in Translation
Sophia dropped a toy that I had asked her to pick up off the floor, then told me what they say when that happens at school.
"Miss Anne calls that butterfly fingers."

I think I like that better than butter fingers. I can picture the object just fluttering away. More descriptive, really.
