Like Father, Like Son

Sam was well-overdue for a haircut, as you can see here.

It was his time to go to the barber, so Jon made an appointment for the both of them. Of course the whole family had to go to see the show. Luckily, we were the only ones in the place, so, as the Nolan trio often does, they took it over.

Sam had fun building towers with the hair products on display while Jon got cleaned up.

His sisters got comfortable.

When it came time for his turn, Sam suddenly realized that maybe this wasn't just going to be a barrel of fun. Once he was on the chair with the apron on, he put on a very long face and pouted. I wasn't sure if he was going to go through with it. Alas, he sat, very quietly, very still, very unhappy, in his barber chair.

Eventually we were able to get him smiling and enjoying the experience.

He went from a mop-top to a "daddy doo" -- as if he didn't look enough like Jon already. That pair cleans up good.
