Happy Trails

Here we are at the beginning of our trip, waiting patiently at the airport for the big adventure to begin.

After we got home, we tried to recount the many rides to and from the island. We concluded that we certainly used a lot of forms of transpor- tation!

On the way there, we rode a van to the airport, took two flights to the island, and another van ride brought us to the condo.

On the way home, we took the van to the airport, had THREE airplane flights, including a bus ride to one of the terminals, and finally the last van ride home.

While on the island, there were MANY van rides with Mr. Curlson, a taxi ride, a safari-type ride (open-sided van), a voyage on a sailboat, a ferry ride, and a short jaunt on a motor boat.

And let's not forget being pushed over the waves in the blow-up boat or the shark rings grampy bought, or the free rides hanging from daddy's neck in the ocean and the pool.

Whew! What a trip!

(Note: Thanks to Shannon and Becky who both suggested a trip to the dollar store. Who knew how much time could be killed with rubber dinosaurs, plastic fairies, Silly Putty, sticker books and plastic cars. Oh, and the M&M's and gummy snacks didn't hurt either!)
